Educators, let Brushfire Press be a resource to you. Brushfire in the Classroom is directed by our Editor-in-Chief, a licensed teacher.
Our presentations are designed to reinforce concepts taught in English and Creative Writing classes, to help students understand what publishers expect and want from manuscript submissions, and to both understand and practice the revision process.
Find out how a partnership with Brushfire Press can help your students take writing seriously.
Brushfire in the Community seeks to increase the number of people active in Northern Utah's literary scene. We work with a broad range of groups from Utah's blind community to church organizations to book clubs.
We conduct creative writing workshops and presentations on the publishing industry. We also help groups understand how to find and support local writers and publishers.

Brushfire in the Classroom and Brushfire in the Community are only the first of several programs we hope to offer. In the future we plan to provide:
- More publication opportunities for Utah's student writers
- Web pages for book clubs and other special interest groups
- Opportunities for self-published authors to sell their books
